PTL Ltd Head of Technical Solutions Robert Camilleri on Thursday highlighted the importance of remaining active during working hours to get a well-earned rest and remain productive.

“As we kick off the new year, it’s important to remember that the workplace isn’t just about work, it’s also about taking care of ourselves and having a little bit of fun,” Mr Camilleri said. He added that this is the main reason why he loves PTL Ltd’s office gym, as it is a “great way to stay active and energised throughout the workday”.

Incorporating an active lifestyle in one’s daily routine allows for a clearer mind during working hours, encouraging more concentration and productivity, especially in the hectic schedules of C-level executives.

In the social media post, Mr Camilleri shared an image of himself during one of his workouts, along with pictures of the gym, before saying: “Whether lifting weights or hitting the treadmill, the gym is a great way to take a break from my desk and give my mind and body a much-needed boost.”

“As we all make our New Year’s resolutions, don’t forget to prioritise self-care and fun in the workplace,” he remarked.

“Whether it’s taking a few minutes to stretch or getting in a quick workout, taking care of ourselves can help us be more productive and happier at work,” Mr Camilleri concluded.

Mr Camilleri has spent over 13 years at IT services and consulting firm PTL Ltd across two spells. He has served as Head of Technical Solutions for almost two years, during which time he has been responsible for leading a team to deliver and maintain “tailor-made IT infrastructures” for the company’s clients.
