Shawn Muscat has been appointed to the role of General Manager at the new Hard Rock Hotel Malta.

Mr Muscat was until now a general manager at another db Group hotel, the db San Antonio Hotel and Spa. Prior to that, he served as general manager at the Labranda Riviera Hotel & Spa, and general manager at the Urban Valley Resort & Spa.

Commenting on his appointment, he expressed his gratitude to the Debono family and the directors of db Group for their trust and support.

“My sincere thanks also go to db San Antonio Hotel and other business units, most importantly, to the teams and colleagues I have had the privilege of working alongside. The achievements and formidable performance delivered together are a reflection of their dedication, resilience and commitment. I am proud to have been part of this journey and grateful for everything we have accomplished together.”

“As I embark on this new chapter, I look forward to working alongside the team at Hard Rock Hotel Malta, and contributing to the hotel’s continued development and success.”

The Hard Rock Hotel opened its doors in September. Located in St George’s Bay, the five-star hotel features 397 rooms, 11 swimming pools and more than ten restaurants, bars, lounges and clubs.
