Sorana Ionita on Monday shared that she has been promoted to Director of Marketing, Strategy and Business Development at WH Partners.

Her new role comes after she previously served as Head of Marketing and Public Relations (PR) at the Malta-based law firm for almost five years.

Prior to that, she worked as Senior Communication and Marketing Specialist at Romanian law firm Filip & Company, where she was responsible for the development and implementation of both the external and internal marketing strategy of the company. She also worked at PR service providers The Public Advisors for more than seven years, initially as PR Specialist, and then as Senior PR Specialist.

Ms Ionita holds a Diploma in Professional Marketing (Digital Strategy) from The Chartered Institute of Marketing. She is also a Bucharest University of Economic Studies graduate, having been awarded a Master’s degree in Marketing Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

WH Partners has its roots in 2006, when Olga Finkel started a law practice called WH Law. WH Partners was then formed in 2012, when she and James Scicluna formed a partnership based on their shared vision of a “modern multidisciplinary practice, providing world-class advice” and “having best in class practice management”. Today, it has over 60 staff, including 20 lawyers, a number of tax accountants, professional corporate service staff and support staff.
