Bank of Valletta’s (BOV) Zurrieq branch will be the bank’s second outlet to benefit from its new branch renovation project.

The project, which was launched last August, will see the largest ever fleet of local bank branches get a modernised look. BOV’s Paola branch was the first outlet to benefit from such project, with on-site works commencing on 30th August.

“Our mission is to tailor experiences that service the needs of today’s customers,” said BOV Chief Retail Banking Officer Kenneth Farrugia.

“A substantial segment of our customers are still visiting our branches, and these customers remain at the core of our long-term strategic vision,” he continued.

Due to the nature of the works taking place at the bank’s Zurrieq branch, this will be temporarily closed as from the 20th September for approximately three months.

Cashiering services will be provided from the Mqabba branch from Monday to Saturday between 8:30am and 12:00pm. Non-cashier services such as home loans, personal loans, investments, and applications for new services will be available by appointment from the Mqabba branch.

“Over the past months we have been working intensively to streamline, reinforce, and standardise our branch experience,” Mr Farrugia said.

“The positive feedback we’ve already received on the new Sliema branch bolsters our confidence in this renovation project. Customers will be greeted in a more appealing, welcoming, and modern banking environment,” he concluded.

BOV deployed a specialised team of Retail Network Specialists to implement its branch renovation project and transform its outlets into customer-centric banking hubs.
