Malta-based gaming operator Betpoint Group has appointed former ComeOn Group chief executive Lahcene Merzoug as its new CEO.

“Bringing a wealth of industry experience, Lahcene will be responsible for overseeing our ambitious expansion plans into new markets,” the company said its new CEO, in a post announcing the news.

Mr Merzoug, who served as CEO of ComeOn for two years after a six-month stint as CMO of Green Media, also shared the news on a social media post, writing, “time for a new adventure.”

The industry veteran boasts over 20 years’ experience within the igaming industry, holding senior roles in marketing and business development at Evoke Gaming Ltd among others.
