Tradeling CEO Marius Ciavola has been recognised as an Industry Trailblazer in the Power List 2021 by Logistics Middle East Magazine, a monthly publication dedicated to reporting the trends and challenges driving and shaping the logistics business across the MENA region.
Describing the recognition as “an honour”, Mr Ciavola, who was appointed CEO of Tradeling, a Dubai-based B2B eMarketplace, last March, said, “with just over a year of hard work behind us and an amazing team of talented individuals at Tradeling we are setting a new benchmark for B2B ecommerce, not just in the region, but in the world.”
Formerly the COO of Tradeling, Mr Ciavola played a central role in setting up the company, which caters to businesses across MENA.
In comments to Logistics Middle East, the CEO spoke about how the company has grown and thrived in an underserved sector, noting that “ecommerce and technology are two sectors that are likely to outpace others in the coming years and we firmly believe that B2B ecommerce is one of the upcoming megatrends in a borderless, contactless world of trade.”
He takes over from Alejandro Gosttuski, who will now take on the role of an Advisor.
The company, set to launch soon, will seek to provide clients with ‘customer-centric and innovative’ financial services.
