BDO Malta is pleased to announce the appointment of Audrey Azzopardi as Tax Director – Direct Tax, further strengthening the firm’s tax leadership and advisory expertise.

Ms Azzopardi joins BDO Malta following 16 years at PwC Malta in the tax and legal department. Over the years, she has advised a wide portfolio of local and international clients across diverse industries. At BDO Malta, she leads the direct tax team with a particular focus on local and international tax, and transfer pricing matters.

In addition to her client work, Ms Azzopardi has actively contributed to industry discussions by providing feedback through various forums, participating in seminars and lectures, and contributing regularly to both local and international publications.

Ms Azzopardi holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Malta and is ACCA-qualified. She has also completed the Advanced Diploma in Taxation administered by the UK Chartered Institute of Taxation, as well as the Transfer Pricing Module delivered by the Malta Institute of Taxation together with the International Tax Center of Leiden.
