Entrepreneur and global media figure Caspar Lee will return to Malta this October for the fifth edition of Start-Up Festival Malta, Malta Enterprise has announced.

Best known for his rise as a YouTube content creator before moving into entrepreneurship and investment, Mr Lee previously attended the festival in 2022 when it was held at Villa Bighi. His keynote speech at the time received positive feedback from founders and students, with his remarks on innovation and proactive thinking still widely referenced by attendees.

This year, he will once again take the stage as a keynote speaker and will also serve as the main judge for the second edition of Pitch Black, the festival’s high-stakes pitching competition. The event challenges participants to present their ideas without the use of slides, focusing solely on the strength of their pitch and delivery.

Mr Lee is the co-founder of Creator Ventures, an investment firm that focuses on creator-led businesses. His involvement is expected to bring additional international attention to the event and further highlight Malta’s growing start-up ecosystem.

The Start-Up Festival Malta has evolved into a significant platform for early-stage innovation, networking, and deal-making. Organisers say that Mr Lee’s return reflects both the international appeal of the festival and the opportunities available to start-ups operating from Malta.

The festival will take place in October, with further details on the programme and participating start-ups expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
