Pharmacare Finance plc on Wednesday announced that Claudio Coppini has been appointed CFO at Pharmacare Premium Limited.
The pharmaceutical company’s financing firm also stated that Andrew Thomas, who served as Finance Manager for more than seven years, will be leaving his position.
As CFO, Mr Coppini will be responsible for all of Pharmacare Premium Limited and its subsidiaries’ financial functions, including accounting, auditing, treasury, corporate finance, and investor relations.
Throughout his career, he has gained more than 20 years of experience in financial management. Prior to his new role, he served as Group CFO at SASMAR, a Belgium-headquartered pharmaceutical manufacturing company. He has also held senior positions at Ltech, Sherpa Insurance, Fraport AG, BNF Bank plc, VistaJet International, Puma, and Siegfried Generics Malta, among others.
He holds a degree in Professional Finance from Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and describes himself as particularly skilled in “team building and development, accounting and financial reporting, and budgeting,” as well as other qualities.
Established in Malta in 2010, Pharmacare Premium Limited is a pharmaceutical manufacturing company that has the aim to become “one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in the Mediterranean and MENA regions”. It boasts a state-of-the-art facility, infrastructure and high-end equipment that are tailored for “high potency contained production” to supply a range of therapeutic products for global markets. Pharmacare Finance plc was set up in 2018 to act as a financing company for Pharmacare Premium Limited and its subsidiary undertakings.
