Christopher Busuttil Delbridge, Chief Visionary Officer at local science company Evolve, will be attending a major international conference on the future of the medical cannabis industry as a speaker.

Said event, as part of Plant Medicine Week, will bring together experts and professionals and will focus on legislation, business, regulation, education, and research.

“Plant Medicine Week is the biggest in-person event of the medical cannabis industry. All the leading entrepreneurs, business leaders, scientists, and activists are going to be there,” Mr Busuttil Delbridge said.

“The growth potential for this industry is so impressive and we want to see Malta at the forefront of this,” he continued.

The four-day conference is being hosted at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta from 5th to 8th April.

“Malta has shown itself to be an island of innovation and creation. It’s the perfect destination location to create our flagship European event format,” Richard Skaife, Executive Chairman of Microdose said.

“Microdose has partnered with category leaders MedCann to bring all aspects of plant medicine under the same roof. Plant Medicine Week will provide a European base camp for the medical cannabis industry to meet and be able to listen, learn, discuss, and network with the leading figures for the industry across the world,” he continued.
