SAMIR SAIED

Samir Saied, Chairman and Director of local telecommunications company GO announced that he will be stepping down from his roles within the company with immediate effect.

This comes after Mr Saied was appointed Minister for Economy and Planification in Tunisia.

Mr Saied holds a wealth of experience in banking, particularly commercial, development, and investment banking.

In May 2020, he was appointed Chairman and CEO of Tunisie Telecom, after occupying several managerial roles at companies such as Paris-based Groupe BPBE, Societe Tunisienne de Banque, and Al-Hosn Investment Company.

Mr Saied’s new ministerial role will also put him in charge of Tunisia’s Investment and Regional Development sectors.

The Board of Directors at GO thanked Mr Saeid for his loyal service and wished him success.
