Malta-based Relax Gaming promoted employee Marija Hammon to Head of Marketing.

Ms Hammon joined the iGaming company as Brand and Communications Manager back in 2019. In December 2020, she was made Product Marketing Manager – a position which she held for just over a year before her latest promotion.

“My path at Relax has allowed me to gain an in-depth understanding across key touch-points both internally and externally, which is something I look forward to harnessing as I assume increased responsibility in my new role as Head of Marketing,” Ms Hammon said.

“I’m thrilled to be able to lead marketing efforts to highlight key initiatives in 2022 and onwards, along with the winning team we have in place. I will be prioritising growth plans for the team itself and also the wider company. There’s a lot to look forward to,” she continued.

Alongside a dual master’s degree in MSc Business Administration and MA Integrated Marketing, Ms Hammon holds a decade of marketing experience working at a series of locally based companies.

“We’re delighted to welcome Marija Hammon as our new Head of Marketing. She brings with her a depth of experience from pervious companies and has been with Relax for several years,” Relax Gaming GM Tommi Maijala said.

“In her time at Relax, Marija has done an excellent job developing our corporate brand and assisting our product marketing team. 2022 will be an exceptionally big year for Relax and we’re happy to have a top marketing team on board to support our vision and ambitious plans,” he concluded.

Now one of the industry’s leading aggregators, Relax provides more than 3,000 online casino games, from its high performing proprietary slots to a significant, varied library of content from hand-picked third-party studios via its partnership programmes.
