Jean Paul Sammut / Metropolis Malta

Advocate Jean Paul Sammut has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Metropolis Twoer, taking charge of the Metropolis Towers Project.

The project, which commenced last March, is set to be an avant-garde mixed-used architectural project that will prove to be an easily distinguished landmark through its prominent towers. The company lauded the “exceptional property development” as a landmark at the heart of Gżira, sitting squarely between Malta’s more popular business districts, minutes away from Sliema, St Julian’s, Ta’ Xbiex, and Valletta.

The site is also well connected to this part of the island’s main road network hub. Metropolis highlighted how thanks to its strategic location, “the project will provide residents and corporate employees some of the most spectacular views in Malta”, which include Malta’s fortified capital, Valletta, Ta’ Xbiex’s yacht marina, the inlet referred to as Sliema ‘creek’, and the “historically significant Manoel Island”.

Dr Sammut, who is also Founder and Managing Partner at Sammut Advocates and Consultants, has occupied a number of management positions at major local companies, such as Polidano Group.

Commenting about his appointment, Dr Sammut said: “I am excited to take on this role for one of the largest upcoming real estate projects in the country.”

“As Metropolis Malta, we are eager to complete this project and provide the area with the economic boost it deserves. At the same time, we look forward to coordinating with all stakeholders, including residents, businessmen, local authorities, NGOs and more,” he added.

As Sammut Advocates and Consultants’ Managing Partner, he has led the firm from a start-up to a prominent boutique law firm in Malta. Dr Sammut is involved with a number of stakeholders, and is thus considered an influential member and consultant for a wide array of companies both locally and internationally. As a Lawyer by profession, he is also practising in the courts of Malta within the criminal, commercial and civil fields.
