Founded in Floriana back in 1946, Golden Harvest nowadays boasts a state-of-the-art facility in San Gwann wherein around 70,000 products are produced and distributed around the islands daily. The company, now managed by third-generation family members, specialises in bakery and sweet confectionery products, although it’s also home to an ice-cream and gluten free department.

Ms Balzan Fava took to social media to celebrate her appointment.

“I look forward to continue working with the Directors and management team to keep building upon the past success of the company,” she wrote.

The newly appointed General Manager started her Golden Harvest journey back in 2015, when she joined the company as Marketing Business Development Manager. In said capacity, Ms Balzan Fava held a long series of responsibilities related to business strategy, marketing, and operations management.

Before that, the GM spent around five-and-a-half years at Retail International Group, wherein she served as Brand Representative for three years before being promoted to Assistant Manager.
