APS Bank hosted the first Malta Sustainability Forum (MSF) event for 2022 earlier this month, titled ‘Level Up for Carbon Neutrality’.

More than 450 participants registered to attend said event, which was live streamed online and is now available on the bank’s YouTube Channel.

APS Bank, the organiser behind MSG, noted that it is ‘pleased’ with the attention and reach that the event’s theme – ‘Sustain Tomorrow Today’ – managed to achieve.

“We designed a scheme to guide all content curation for this year’s events and are selecting highly relevant topics, of interest to a wide audience,” Rachael Blackburn, Head of Culture at APS Bank said.

“This is achieved, firstly, by connecting with the UN SDGs, secondly, by looking at the topic from a global and local perspective, and thirdly, by exploring the business and individual’s experience of the topic under discussion,” Ms Blackburn continued.

‘Level Up for Carbon Neutrality’ was addressed by a line-up of 15 influential speakers, thought-leaders, and change makers who helped to communicate the urgency to take action and raise awareness about how each person has a role to play in achieving carbon neutrality.

“Audience feedback following [the event] indicates that the quality of the speakers and adoption of this scheme has helped more people actively engage with the content, to work on reducing their carbon footprint and create a more sustainable future,” Ms Blackburn concluded.
