Regine Debono Caruana, an HR professional with decades of experience, has joined Aurobindo Pharma Malta as Senior Manager Human Resources.

Founded in 2008, the Birzebbuga-based company is a fully owned subsidiary of Aurobindo Pharma Pvt. The Maltese subsidiary is thus the gateway for Aurobindo’s pharmaceutical products in Europe, with operations including analytical services, batch release, and warehousing.

Ms Debono Caruana joins Aurobindo Pharma Malta following a one-year stint as HR Country Manager at Labranda Riviera Resort & Spa, Meeting Point Malta, and Meeting Point Cyprus, subsidiaries of FTI Group.

Her journey with said group commenced in July 2019, when she took on the role of HR Manager at Meeting Point Malta and Meeting Point International.

Before that, Ms Debono Caruana held a plethora of HR-related roles, such as Group HR & Training Manager at Michele Peresso Group of Companies, HR Business Partner at Teva Pharmaceuticals, Senior Manager – HR Management at AX Hotels Malta, and Senior Manager – HR Management, Payroll & Administration at Inspire Foundation (Malta).

Earlier on, she held the roles of Assistant Manager – Human Resources and Officer – Employee Relations & Humans Resources at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc.
