Roberto Debrincat has been appointed as ElectroGas Malta’s new Director of Communications, bringing a wealth of experience in journalism, corporate communications, and marketing to the role.

Mr Debrincat’s career spans various industries, having started out as a senior journalist with Union Print, where he spent more than eight years managing the sports department, overseeing content publication for the newspaper.

According to his LinkedIn profile, in 2014, he transitioned into the financial services sector, taking on the role of Sales and Marketing Manager at Secure Trading Financial Services Limited. During his two-year tenure, he was responsible for setting annual sales and profit targets, analysing industry trends, and implementing national sales strategies. His role also involved developing field sales action plans to strengthen the company’s market position.

His expertise in corporate communications was further honed during his three years and four months as Communications Manager at Enemalta plc, where he handled external and internal communications. He later moved to Bank of Valletta plc, where he served as Senior Manager of Corporate Communications, playing a key role in the bank’s public relations and media engagement strategy.
