Private jet company NetJets has appointed Stephen Pace as Captain, effective last Tuesday 9th September.
For the past four years, Captain Pace has been flying the Cessna Citation Latitude, known as a business jet, with NetJets.
He began his aviation career in 1997, gaining experience across multiple areas of operations, including dispatch, reservations, ticketing, passenger handling, and more, before earning his pilot’s license in 2008.
Since then, he has amassed over 9,000 flight hours, including more than 4,000 hours dedicated to training aspiring pilots.
Captain Pace is a well-known figure in Malta’s aviation training community, having served as a Flight Instructor (FI) and Flight Examiner (FE) at the European Pilot Academy before continuing his career at the Malta School of Flying.
NetJets is a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, the American multinational conglomerate that began as a textile manufacturer. FlightSafety is another key component of Berkshire Hathaway’s aviation-related portfolio. The parent company is led by 95-year-old Warren Buffett, who announced in May 2025 that he will step down as CEO.
