GO plc has announced the appointment of Patrick Gatt as its new Chief of Wholesale, effective 1st May 2025.

Mr Gatt brings a wealth of experience to the role, having formed part of GO’s leadership team since 2008. Over the years, he has held various senior positions in customer relations, business development, and more recently, international and wholesale operations.

For the past nine years, Mr Gatt has led GO’s International and Wholesale portfolio, overseeing strategic partnerships with global operators in areas such as roaming, international and local data, wholesale messaging, and voice services. His tenure in this role has been characterised by a focus on innovation and operational efficiency, contributing to the development of new revenue streams and the implementation of cost-saving initiatives.

Notably, Mr Gatt played a key role in the negotiation and delivery of the La Valette submarine cable system, which enhances Malta’s connectivity by linking the island to France and Egypt. His involvement extended beyond commercial negotiations, also contributing to the project management aspects of the system’s implementation.

In addition to his professional experience, Mr Gatt holds an MBA from Henley Business School and serves on the board of SENS Innovation Group Ltd.
