MedservRegis plc has announced significant changes to its leadership structure, appointing Olivier Bernard and Karl Bartolo as Co-Chief Executive Officers, effective 1st September 2025.
The company said the move from a single CEO model to a dual leadership structure reflects its commitment to strengthening its organisation and positioning itself for future growth.

Olivier Bernard, an experienced professional with an international profile across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, will assume primary responsibility for finance, human resources, information technology, and strategy.
He has held senior executive positions in a number of service companies, initially focusing on finance and IT before expanding his portfolio to managing large and complex groups. One of his key areas of expertise is operating joint ventures with foreign partners.
Mr Bernard also holds multiple directorships at MedservRegis and has previously served as Chairman, Audit Committee Chair, or Non-Executive Director in industries including insurance, property, and aviation.

Karl Bartolo, who has been with MedservRegis for over 17 years, will take on primary responsibility for business development and operations.
Mr Bartolo, a Certified Public Accountant by profession, graduated from the University of Malta in 2001 with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons). Over the years, he has played a central role in shaping and executing the Group’s growth strategy, with a focus on strategic change, business process improvement, and financial performance.
Known for his sharp analytical mind and financial acumen, Mr Bartolo has built a strong track record in delivering cost control and revenue growth while contributing at both senior management and board level.
Board changes
The company also confirmed that David O’Connor, who served as Chief Executive Officer, has transitioned to the role of Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. The Board expressed its appreciation for Mr O’Connor’s leadership and his significant contributions during his tenure as CEO.
In addition, long-serving director Anthony Diacono has been appointed Vice Chairman of the Board. Mr Diacono has been with MedservRegis since 2001 and previously held the position of Chairman.
MedservRegis said the new governance and leadership model will ensure continuity and position the company for sustainable success in the years ahead.
