CLA Malta has appointed Chris Borg as Director of Direct Tax & Global Mobility.

Mr Borg started working as an Accounts Clerk at AX Holdings back in 1999. In 2008, he went on to work as a Financial Planning & Control Executive with Vodafone Malta, and was a Salary Partner at CSA group in 2018, amongst other professions he honed.

On his LinkedIn profile, Mr Borg said that in this latest position he will continue to build upon his experience, specialising in direct taxation, providing expert guidance on restructuring, tax compliance, and strategic advice. He will also focus on global mobility solutions for high-net-worth individuals, helping them navigate complex cross-border tax and residency matters.

“In addition to my technical responsibilities, I am actively engaged in business development, working to generate new opportunities and strengthen existing relationships. My goal is to contribute to the continued growth and success of CLA Global by providing exceptional client services”, he added.

CLA Malta is a new venture formed this week following the merging of activities by KSi Malta and CSA Group, two leading corporate service providers in Malta. CLA Malta now forms part of the global network CLA Global whish was established on 1st July 2022, by CliftonLarsonAllen LLP and Evelyn Partners. It has quickly grown to include over 220 offices worldwide, with more than 14,500 professionals. The network specialises in serving fast-growing, innovative, and dynamic middle-market businesses with cross-border operations.
