Malcolm Sacco

Malcolm Sacco has recently been appointed Head of Research and Development at Medichem, a pharmaceutical company specialising in the development and manufacture of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (APIs) and Finished Dosage Forms (FDFs) for the global generics industry.

At the start of his career, Mr Sacco worked at Medichem for over seven years, beginning as a Quality Control Laboratory Analyst in 2011 and later serving as a Research and Development Officer. In 2018, he left Medichem to gain experience with Siegfried Holding AG and A2W Pharma.

In 2020, Mr Sacco rejoined Medichem as an FDF Industrialisation Manager.

In his new role, Mr Sacco will be managing technology transfer, overseeing development projects, and providing scientific guidance. He will also lead a team of scientists, manage laboratories, and evaluate manufacturing opportunities.
